Timing is everything. Yesterday I was listening to a conversation about the Pitch Drop Experiment that I think has some interesting similarities to a scenario I recently found myself in…
If you aren’t looking to go read the full description on what the Pitch Drop is… Here’s a basic description: (taken from Wiki) – The pitch drop experiment is a long-term experiment which measures the flow of a piece of pitch over many years. Pitch is the name for any of a number of highly viscous liquids which appear solid, most commonly bitumen. At room temperature, tar pitch flows at a very slow rate, taking several years to form a single drop.
So… What that means is that this stuff takes years (usually 8-10) to form a single drop… Those years of buildup are dissipated in less than a second when that Pitch drips.
This situation kinda has that feel to me…. Been searching for years for the “right timing” and for “things to work out” so I could go do something like this….. then all of the sudden, in an unprepared instant, the opportunity is given, door is open…. NOW WHAT?!
I guess now I need to find my socks and shoes and get to walking through that door that just opened!! The pitch just dropped and I happened to catch it, now I just need to properly filter and file the information…. aka, see ya’ll in Austin.

Since this is a last minute endeavor, any assistance to get out there would be great!! Now is a great time to go look/listen around to see if there’s any music in the  STORE for you!
Help us get to SXSW…. AND BACK!

If you’re going to be in Austin for SXSW, let’s meet up! (Clearly I’m a poor man and I’ll be at the unofficial side of SXSW)
Reach out to me any of these places:
